Coordinated Student Care: Austin Community College Creates Unified Academic Guidance

Austin Community College’s North Star Goal is to grow their completion rate to 70% by 2030. As part of this effort, the instructional programs seek to strengthen student engagement with areas of study by offering faculty advising, learning communities, and department-specific programming with the goal of persistence, retention, and completion.

This session explores how academic and career advising is provided in a partnership between instructional faculty and student affairs as an essential part of helping their diverse student population finish what they start and progress toward graduations.
