CHICAGO, IL – DePaul University, one of the 10 largest private universities in the U.S., today announced a partnership with Civitas Learning® that will leverage data science and predictive analytics to support data-informed decision-making by university leaders and faculty.
“By unlocking data trapped across disparate systems on campus, this work will generate new insights into student course taking patterns to ensure that we have critical courses and faculty available when students need them most,” said Dr. Julie Artis, an associate professor of sociology and director of the university’s course scheduling analytics project. “Civitas Learning will help us bring data to the front lines so that we can intervene early and provide advising and planning support necessary for students to graduate on time.”
