CHICO, CA — March 30, 2018 – Student success pioneer College Scheduler by Civitas Learning has been awarded the HEUG Partner of the Year award by the Higher Education User Group (HEUG), an organization of higher education institutions that use Oracle software, such as PeopleSoft. The award recognizes Civitas Learning for its role as a valuable partner in helping HEUG members maximize the value of their PeopleSoft software, as well as its near decade of support of HEUG’s Alliance Conference.
College Scheduler, which revolutionized the course registration process by helping students build schedules that accommodate outside obligations and preferred learning times. In Fall 2017 more than 1.9M students used College Scheduler to optimize their course schedules. The solution has been proven to advance degree completion by an average of 1.5 credit hours per student, increase student retention by an average of 3.25 percentage points, and increase graduation rates by up to 3.5 percentage points.
Members of the College Scheduler by Civitas Learning’s team have attended HEUG’s Alliance Conferences since 2009. Attending the conference has helped Civitas Learning grow and develop strong partnerships with over 120 colleges and universities across the country that use PeopleSoft software. Civitas Learning received the award during this year’s Alliance Conference. The Alliance Conference is an annual user-driven conference organized by HEUG that brings over 3,500 attendees together from all over the world and offers over 350 educational sessions.
