As part of an ongoing set of conversations here, we’ve been exploring how the approach to data in higher education is changing, and how our institutional governance, systems, and cultures have to change as a result. We’ve catalyzed conversations with practitioners like Judy Genshaft and Paul Dosal at the University of South Florida and Pete Smith at the University of Texas at Arlington, all of whom used data to change their culture, close achievement gaps, and reach new highs in student persistence and graduation. In this podcast we continue this exploration with Senior Principal Strategic Consultant at Civitas Learning, Angela Baldasare, well known for her game-changing work using data to power student-success initiatives at the University of Arizona.
